| ENTHUSIASM (1) Definition: [ ~ (for something/for doing something) ] A strong feeling of excitement and interest in something and a desire to become involved in it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements should be in. 1. Purposeful - the excitement and interest. 2. Considered a necessity - the desire to be involved. 3. Thing to be involved in can be identified and is known specifically. Or the quality of adventure is possessed by person/animal with strong feeling for impending activity. 4. The dangers and/or risks, if any, in thing is known. Or there is an awareness that thing can be deadly, dangerous, challenging, etc. 5. There is a preparation, readiness and determination to face situation. And there is also maximum optimism and courage! 6. Plan and planning, even if unwritten, and including a Plan B, if necessary, are in place, while waiting for the right time. That is, person will act or know exactly what to do when activity starts. 7. Excitement and interest exhibited or displayed is infectious! That is, anticipation of an impending event can be 'shared' excitedly by another person or group of persons. 8. The wherewithal or the conditions will be possessed or will exists for feeling to come to fruition or for desire to be fulfilled. That is, time, space, resources, etc. necessary to back bubbly state is or will be present. 9. Feeling will continue for appropriate period and will not wane during duration of the wait or throughout a performance. 10. No serious activity will be undertaken or participated in, while expecting the thing excited over and desired to be involved in. That is, energy will not be burnt or resources wasted, while waiting. 11. Thing is expected to exists or be for the desired period for a full participation and enjoyment to be attained from the strong excitement and interest shown. 12. A 'reality' - just before thing is due to start - cannot shake resolve. That is, no circumstance will dampen morale or make enthusiast have a change of mind! _______________ * CAN'T WAIT.
