| ENQUIRER Definition: (formal) A person who asks for information. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Has a purpose and need for the information being sought. 2. Ask is specific. That is, person is certain of the thing (= information) needed. In other words, detail(s), data, fact(s), etc. required are known. Or a fair idea of the nature what is being sought is possessed. 3. Directs request(s) to the right quarter(s). 4. Discloses the real reason(s) - study and learning, research and experimentation, blackmail, enlightenment, etc. - for seeking information. (Connect to #5.) 5. Adopts the right approach in making request, be this aggressive or gentle, to help achieve goal(s). And is willing and ready to pay a price or money, for particular information, where necessary. 6. Has the capacity to keep/retain a reply/an answer obtained from search and questioning. And/or has a good memory to recall or remember details heard, afterwards. 7. Does nothing illegal or untoward in search for the relevant or vital information. And suffers no unplanned loss in the process. That is, will not be attacked, arrested, etc. as a direct outcome of question(s) being asked. 8. Achieves objective(s).
