| ENDOWMENT (1) Definition: Money that is given to a school, a college or another institution to provide it with an income; the act of given this money. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. * This is not about the act. 1. Purposeful and necessary (see definition). 2. Amount is reasonable - enough to be profitably invested. 3. Source of money is legal, approved. That is, not a receipt that will be deemed as illegal. 4. Money is given fully, correctly and received promptly. 5. Management of the sum is 'professionally handled' (to emphasize). 6.
