| ANTIPHONY Definition: Antiphonal singing (= two groups of singers singing a hymn in alternate parts). ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to adopt style or method. 2. Both the start timing, for the first group, and the end protocols, for the second group, are not mixed up. 3. Separateness of the different parts sung alternately, will be clearly, wholly and neatly expressed. 4. Voice pitch, intonation, accent, etc. will be correct as expected or practised - not an irritation. 5. No error or mistake in the process. That is, the singing will be completed without a mispronunciation, an omission, etc. 6. All the members of a group will be involved in the activity - no miming.
