Empty nest
EMPTY NEST

Definition: (usually - the empty nest) The situation that parents are in when their children have grown up and left home.

* All six elements should be in.


1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Both parents, but especially the mother, have passed child-bearing age. And therefore no probability of woman being pregnant!

3. Children are doing well, not depending or relying on parents for support or sustenance.

4. Parents are living together, peacefully, not needing the presence of kids to avoid or to settle a quarrel, disagreement, etc.

5. Situation remains for desired period of time. That is, there will be no wish to go for an adoption, out of loneliness or boredom.

6. Serves purpose(s). That is, both parents enjoy their 'freedom' anew and are able to age gracefully and lovingly.
