| EMPTINESS (1) Definition: A feeling of being sad because nothing seems to have any value. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Senses of the person with feeling are correct, not 'deadened'. That is, person can still smell, hear, see, etc. during the period. 2. Ticking time is not noticed or regarded as important. Or there is a lack of appreciation of the time passing by. 3. No desire to retain or keep any material or spiritual thing - no stinginess or selfishness. 4. No wish or longing to do anything at the time. And no enthusiasm to comply promptly with any rule, law, etc. 5. Thing or things has or have value, even though this is unrealized. Or the value that can be got at the particular time from thing(s), is less than the expectation or less than a previous value obtained. 6. No care, fear, worry, etc. is had by the person about a possible danger or threat. That is, person gives no damn or hoot at the particular moment in time. 7. Self-worth or self-esteem is at its lowest ebb at this period, and person is therefore vulnerable to attacks, etc. 8. Situation (= feeling of sadness) lasts for a desired duration. 9.
