| EMBASSY (2) Definition: The building in which an embassy (= a group of officials led by an ambassador who represent their government in a foreign country) works. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Solid and well-constructed. And built-for-purpose! 3. Clean, neat and tidy, at all times. 4. Known or recognizable from the outside as a place for foreign diplomats, by a name inscription, flag hoisting, symbol or signboard, etc., etc. 5. Safe, secured and protected to be in, near or around, whether as a worker, refugee, visitor, visa applicant, etc. That is, structure is guarded at all times - night and day. And has CCTV coverage, diplomatic or regular police patrol, etc. around its premises. 6. Spacious enough to conduct the activities required by staff and visitors. That is, office spaces, parks, etc. are adequate. 7. Ambience is conducive for all persons that will be inside building. 8. The facilities in building - lift(s), equipment, etc. - are functioning optimally. 9. Never violated as a sovereign (foreign) land (soil) by the security forces or intelligence of host country. Insured and not indebted for outstanding services - water, electricity, telephone, etc. - provided by the public utilities of the host country. 12.
