| EMBASSY (1) Definition: A group of officials led by an ambassador who represent their government in a foreign country. ______________________________________________________________________ * All thirteen elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity to have group. 2. No member of group has dual nationality (connect to #6). 3. All members are accredited by host country (connect to #5). 4. Each member has the requisite training and qualification(s). 5. The schedule of duties are specific and known, and kept to, by all. 6. Every member is loyal and faithful to the home government or motherland. 7. Complete in strength (= numbers) for the mission or outpost. 8. Group obeys all the laws of host country. That is, no member abuses his or her diplomatic immunity. 9. No person in the group who is still at the duty post after expiration of tour period. 10. Group is efficient, effective, thorough and competent. That is, they collectively provide excellent services. 11. Members are always appropriately dressed or turned out, especially to conform with protocol or formalities. 12. Never absent from duty post without authorization. 13. Each diplomat in group knows and respects the seniority of every other member. That is, group is united, well-organized and/or structured.
