| ELEVATION (1) Definition: (formal) The process of somebody getting a higher or more important rank. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary in the opinion of person being elevated and/or in the estimation of the authority elevating. 2. Approved and authorized appropriately. 3. Processes and procedures adopted are proper and legal. 4. Person excelled in previous (lower) position/level. Or has no better, that is sidelined for him or her to get elevated. 5. Capacity or capability to perform well in new position is possessed. Or the possibility of being trained to meet the challenges that will arise in new position will be available. 6. The uplift is earned or deserved, merited - not given as a consequence of external pressure, lobby, networking, or corruption! 7. Position or placement is not 'too high' - double promotion (?) - for the elevated person. That is, incompetence will not be exhibited in new post. (Connect to #4 & #5.) 8.
