| ELECTRONIC TAGGING Definition: The system of attaching an electronic device to a person so that the police, etc. know where the person is. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful (see definition). 2. Considered a necessity, by law, regulation, etc. to monitor movement of particular person. 3. Device will function under every weather condition, wherever, and at all times. 4. It will be impossible to remove device from where attached. 5. Does not result in a serious inconvenience - injury, illness, sore, etc. - for the wearer. 6. Cannot or does not malfunction while it is on person (= worn). 7. Monitored constantly from a 'control room'. 8. Cannot be tampered with or manipulated by a technician or an expert to give incorrect information. 9.
