ELEATIC

Definition: A philosopher of the school possibly founded by Xenophane (6th century B.C.) at Elea in Lucania, and later represented by Parmenides and Zeno (5th century B.C.). The Eleatics believed that all things are one and denied the existence of plurality and change.
