| EDUCATED GUESS Definition: (idiomatic - an educated guess) A guess that is based on some degree of knowledge, and is therefore likely to be correct. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to speculate, even as there will be no guarantee. 2. Does not take too long in coming. That is, guess will be mentioned fairly quickly. 3. Uttered only once. Or if repeated, utterance will not be a changed or an altered version. 4. Definite and almost sacrosanct. That is, guess will not be a 'maybe', or 'something like', or strictly a 'yes-no'. 5. If wrong, error or oversight can be reasonably explained or convincingly justified! (To emphasize.) 6.
