| DUTY OFFICER Definition: The officer, for example in the police, army, etc., who is on duty at a particular time in a particular place. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful (connect to #2, to emphasize). 2. Considered necessary to have person on duty. ____________________________________________________ WHATEVER THE RANK! (JUNIOR OR SENIOR OR FIELD!) 3. Officer is the person whose names/rank are published in the official roster/order/signal, etc. 4. Knows specific roles and responsibilities (= schedule of duties). _____________________________________________________ NORMAL OR EXTRA DUTY!! (FOR A DAY OR THE WEEK!!) 5. Physically visits and/or present at duty location(s). Or/and personally goes round all the important spots of duty area(s). 6. Observant, dutiful and patriotic. (HAPPILY MARRIED, SEPARATED OR NEWLY-WED!!!) 7. Personally writes a report - a complete and correct one - at the end of duty tour. 8. Serves purpose(s).
