| DRINKER (1) Definition: A person who drinks alcohol regularly, especially somebody who drinks too much. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements would be in. 1. Has a reason, even if not necessarily a purpose. 2. Has no favourite alcoholic drink - beer, spirit, wine, champagne, etc., - an 'all-comers'; from the mildest beer to the strongest spirit! _______ 'HEY'. (serve me, please.) 3. Eats properly - right diets, and regularly - daily meals. 4. Has regular medical checks - for state of health: healthiness of liver, etc. That is, does not become ill as a direct result of excessive alcohol in system. _______________ 'DON'T WORRY'. (another round ... .) 5. Never truly in a stable state. That is, not normally in control of his or her faculties - no matter what the drunk claims. 6. Does not become bankrupt as a result of unreasonable indulgence. ____________ 'SO WHAT'?! (what's the matter?) 7. Does not commit an illegality in drunken condition (to emphasize). 8. Not really respected, appreciated or applauded. That is, the generality of the public will not reckon with this person (= drunk!). ______ HIC! (my friend!) 9. Makes no serious progress in life (= career, relationships, business, etc.) 10. Loss or reputation, dignity, respect, etc. caused by excesses is not easily regained or restored. ______________________ 'ONE FOR THE ROAD' ! (leave me alone!!)
