Double standard
DOUBLE STANDARD

Definition: A rule or moral principle that is unfair because it is used in one situation, but not in another, or because it treats one group of people in a way that is different from the treatment of another.

1. Purposeful, for the party practicing unfairness.

2. Necessary to be unfair in the opinion of practitioner(s).

3. No gain in the situation by 'sufferer' or loser.

4. No complaints is laid or made as a result of unfairness.

5. Does not lead to a loss of life, in the immediate or distant future, for the 'victim' of unfairness.

6. Not in any way justifiable. That is, unfairness has no basis; completely indefensible.

7. Not regretted by the unfair party and never apologized for.

8. A benefit accrues to the practitioner(s) of inconsistency. And a loss occurs for the loser in the situation (connect to #3). That is, selective use of rule or principle achieves objective(s).
