Definition: (usually - the dole) (British English, informal) Money paid by the state to unemployed people.

1. Purposeful and considered necessary.

2. Act is backed or supported by the law.

3. Amount is reasonable and/or substantial, in the beneficiary's opinion (to emphasize).

4. Paid timely (regularly) and correctly (completely). That is, will have a worth or value at the time of collection.

5. Recipient is on the job queue. That is, an unemployed is registered with the jobcentre! And will not turn down a job offer!!

6. Payments lasts for an appropriate duration. That is, the person will get a job someday (connect to #5).

7. No activity which brings in money is engaged in by the unemployed.

8. (Reserved.) (Recipient does not get involved in a situation such a riot, etc. that may result in damage or destruction to government or public property.)

9. Payment serves purpose(s), especially for the government. (?)
