| DIY Definition: (British English) The activity of making, repairing or decorating things in the home yourself, instead of paying somebody to do it (abbreviation for 'do it yourself'). ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary to make, repair or decorate things at home by yourself. 2. You have enough funds to conveniently pay somebody to do job(s). 3. Quality of job done is as good as, if not better than, what the paid worker would have done. 4. You do not get injured or wounded. And no unplanned loss is suffered by the you in the process. 5. You do not make a claim for a 'refund', as if someone else was paid to do job (if applicable). 6. Time used to complete task is not excessive. And is not a period meant for another important job which ends up not done. 7. Money 'saved' was put into productive use(s). 8.
