Disservice
DISSERVICE

Definitions:

i. (idiomatic - do somebody a disservice) To do something that harms somebody and the opinion that other people have of them.

ii. A well-meant but in fact harmful attempt to be of service.

1. Act is/was for a purpose, and (help) considered a necessity.

2. Process usually 'effective' for a prevention to be possible.

3. Given or done in full measure - with all the heart and mind.

4. Losses 'service' brings will be considerable or substantial.

5. Would be mentioned much later by who suffers from an action.

6. Cannot be assuaged afterwards (connect to #4, to emphasize).

7. Who caused harm won't apologize, and gets away with badness.
