| DISCUSSION GROUP (1) Definition: A discussion group is a group of people who meet regularly to discuss a particular subject. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, for all the members of the group. 2. Selection or mix or election will be of a potpourri. That is, the people will be from varied backgrounds and of various disciplines. 3. Each member will study the subject before every meeting or session. 4. The freedom or liberty to express thoughts and opinions will be provided, unrestricted, with all members contributing constructively. 5. The members will arrive early and be complete every time they meet. 6. Administration or organization will be coordinated properly. That is, leadership, order, agenda, etc. will be handled satisfactorily. 7. The group will serve purpose(s); analytical and disbanded afterwards. 8.
