Purposeful and necessary (?) - the intention of the combined notes, not the 'discomfort' to the ears. 2. Not deliberate. And not caused by faulty musical instrument(s), or by illicit substance taken by player(s), or the bad effect of a negative frame of mind. 3. Rubbish (= combined notes, are) is listened to or heard completely. 4. Some use can still be found in the 'useless' combination. 5. Some loss will arise from poorness of mix. 6.
