| DISASTER AREA (1) Definitions: i. A place where a disaster has happened and which need special help. ii. A disaster area is a part of a country or the world which has been seriously affected by a disaster such as an earthquake or a flood. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Specific and identifiable. 2. Measurable and/or assessable. 3. Declared or soon-to-be declared as a 'chaos zone'. 4. Evacuated or planned to be evacuated as soon as possible. 5. Will bring a considerable loss to people and lower animals, and result in environmental imbalance and a disruption to an ecosystem. 7.
