DISAGREEMENT (1)

Definition: [ ~ (about/on/over/as to something)/ ~ (among ...)/ ~ (between A and B) ] A situation where people have different opinions about something and often argue.

1. Purposeful and necessary - the argument, not the differences.

2. Opinions are clearly specific and identifiable. That is, positions adopted are known. In other words, people with differences are not talking at cross purposes; detailed.

3. The premise on which each opinion is based is seemingly correct; solid. (To emphasize.)

4. Differences are essential and vital; important.

5. No compromise or consensus can be achieved in the situation. That is, matter will not be resolved; no retreat, no surrender.

6. Arguments lasts for an unnecessarily long period of time: full-on.

7. (Reserved.) (Arguments will include insults, vituperation, shouting matches, etc.)

8. Never gets out of hand. That is, argument will not include a physical exchange (= brawl, fisticuffs, blows, kicks, etc.)
