Definition: Discontent, disloyalty (especially political).

1. Who is dissatisfied will have an end aim; purposeful and necessary for the likely selfish complainant or grumbler.

2. The grounds or basis will have nothing to do with the fundamentals or political party manifesto (programs or principles).

3. Point(s) of disagreement would have been clearly expressed earlier to the right organs or officials of group or party.

4. A closely guarded desire or secret plan will be in place to give vent or meaning to anger or lack of satisfaction or trust.

5. Association (a flirting) with an enemy (an opposition) will be apparent, at the time, in speeches, conduct, voting, etc.

6. Placatory gestures will be possible in the situation, even if 'negotiated', or at the expense of support or victory.

7. Where disagreement is taken to the extreme, the 'traitor' will not regret an action or inaction, whatever the outcome(s).
