| DICTATION (1) Definition: The act of speaking or reading so that somebody can write down the words. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary to dictate. 2. Speed of talk, or a reading speed is appropriate - not too fast or too slow - for the writer (= listener/hearer!). 3. Pronunciation, diction, etc. are correctly made (connect to #3). 5.
