| DIARIST Definition: A person who writes a diary (= a book in which the experiences of each day, your private thoughts, etc. are written), especially one that is later published. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful (connect to #7, see definition, to emphasize). 2. Writer considers it necessary to put down experiences and thoughts. 3. Writes or wrote timely - immediately happenings occur or when memory or recall is still very sharp. 4. What is written are factual events or things that can be supported with evidence. And if the writings are thoughts, only genuine ones; and without an error or mistake. 5. What is written is not incomplete. That is, no vital detail or data is omitted, whether deliberately or inadvertently, however lurid, embarrassing, implicating, etc. (connect to #3). 6. What is written gets published as exactly put down by the writer. 7. Publication gets a readership and serves purpose(s). 8.
