Definition: The giving of a lower value to something, making it seem less important than it is really is.

2. Deliberately done, to achieve specific goal(s).

3. Gain arises from the 'loss', for who lowers value.

4. Situation lasts for period desired, even a recovery can be made.

5. Deceit is not found out early, and it is not possible to recoup 'loss' from thing being made seemingly less, when the lie is discovered.

6. Act achieves goal(s), whatever this/these is/are.
