| DETERMINATION (5) Definition: (law) The settling of a controversy by a judicial decision. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Happens at the right stage. 3. All the parties were heard. Or all the interested parties were given equal opportunities to be heard. 4. Processes and procedures were above board. That is, fair hearing was displayed in the process of law. 5. Pronouncement will be made timely (connect to #8). That is, no delay or dereliction of duty by the justice(s). 6. No challenge or appeal takes place, after a ruling or judgment has been delivered. Or a 'protest', if any, will be lost. 7. There can be no resort to jungle justice. 8. Justice would be duly served (to emphasize). 9.
