| DESTINY (1) Definition: What happens to somebody or what will happen to them in the future, especially things that they cannot change or avoid. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would surely be in. 1. Purposeful, and necessary, whether known or unknown. Isaiah 43: 21. 2. Approach of thing is 'seen'. That is, there is a predictability about thing happening, whatever its 'speed', whether this can be assessed or not by the person or some others. Jeremiah 10: 13. 3. A desire exists to get the same or a different result/outcome. That is, thing is not left to fate! Or, a determined effort made to prevent thing from occurring does not succeed. In other words, it is believed that thing is beyond human control. Proverbs 3: 6. 4. What is got from the event does not lead to an unplanned loss. That is, loss or losses in situation, if any, was foreseen. Mathew 8: 13. 5. Some lesson(s) is/are learned or will be learned from the situation, whether it is a good or bad occurrence. Isaiah 14: 24 & 27. 6. Losses in the situation are not too great to lead to a premature, unplanned death. (To emphasize, see definition, connect to #3.) Proverbs 9: 11. 7. What is received cannot be rejected or thrown away (or lost!). That is, future event will or has to be coped/lived with, for period desired by recipient - not as determined by fate (again!) - however unpleasant or painful. Jeremiah 29: 11. 8.
