| DESIGNATED DRIVER (1) Definition: (informal) The person who agrees to drive and not drink alcohol when people go to a party, a bar, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful. (See perfect SAFETY (1).) 2. Considered necessary to, hopefully, have one 'sane' reveller. (Connect to #4.) (See perfect PROTECTION (1).) 3. Person is reliable - expected or trusted to not drink. (See definition.) (See perfect ABSTINENCE (2).) 4. Does not inhale 'stuff' (to emphasize). (See perfect NON-SMOKER.) 5. Has a current driver's licence (or learner's permit?). (See perfect DRIVING (1).) 6. Knows the joints/clubs/bars to be visited, including the route(s), short-cuts, etc. to the destination(s), whether or not the vehicle being driven is with or without a Satellite navigator. (See perfect KERB-CRAWLER.) 7. Person is in the right frame of mind while in charge (= control?) of the vehicle. (See perfect DEPRESSION (1).) 8. 'Duty driver' is in excellent health all through the period, in spite of stench all round. (See perfect NAUSEA.) 9. Serves purpose(s) as exactly hoped for - takes the revellers, safely around and about!
