| DESERTER Definition: A person who leaves the army, navy, etc. without permission (who deserts). ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers it a necessity to abscond, with or without a justification (connect to #2). (See perfect CHANGE OF MIND.) 2. Does not suffer from a mental illness, that is, thought about action before decision is taken and knows the consequences of leaving unauthorized (and of staying in the army, etc.). (See perfect AWOL.) 3. Does not leave to join a paramilitary organization or a similar kind of group. (See perfect SOLDIER OF FORTUNE.) 4. Never gets caught after deserting or show up to claim benefits, recover properties, etc! (See perfect COURT MARTIAL.) 5. Does not later regret leaving the army, etc. unceremoniously. (See perfect DETERMINATION (1).) 6. Never admits the negative and disgraceful circumstances of departure (to emphasize, connect to #4).
