The lessening of the activity of (trade, a market etc). ______________________________________________________________________ * All four elements, above the line, would be in. 1. Cause or causes is/are known - famine and/or drought are/is on, productivity is declining, purchasing power is low, etc., etc. 2. Citizens or members of the population are on not exploring the opportunities and options that would be present during the hard times: on their 'backsides'. 3. No favourable trading relationships or conditions with other nations or countries and commercial partners. 4. The 'thinking caps' of those in the private sector are off!
