Demotivation
DEMOTIVATION

Definition: The act of making somebody feel that it is not worth making an effort.

3. The possible or probable benefit/gain/profit, etc. from making an effort, is not properly portrayed; not given its right value, worth, importance or significance, etc.

4. Deserved reward or benefit from efforts is not disclosed or promised in full. Or pledged reward, if any, is withdrawn or significantly reduced before start or completion of endeavour.

5. No serious support, assistance, aid, etc. is given. Or help, if any, that is offered, will be at the cost of an 'arm and a leg'.

6. Benefits already received and used or receivable and usable, by the person discouraging another, are never disclosed or will will not be disclosed.

7. No physicality will be involved in establishing feeling. That is, there will be no use of force to try to prevent person from trying thing.

8. Succeeds. That is, the (an) effort is not started or an ongoing endeavour will not be continued, or will be greatly slowed down as a direct outcome of the act.

9. Person discouraging another achieves objective(s).
