| DELAYERING (1) Definition: (business) The process of simplifying the administrative structures of a large organization in order to make it more efficient. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful to achieve specific aim(s). (See perfect PRODUCTIVITY.) 2. Considered a vital necessity. (See perfect CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.) 3. Process is commenced timely and involves the inputs of the foot soldiers or floor members in large group. (See perfect FACTORY FLOOR.) 4. Systems analysis and other other methods or strategies are undertaken or adopted. That is, restructuring, reorganization, remodelling, redesign, etc. will be of the right type(s) and in appropriate measure(s). (See perfect SIMPLIFICATION (1).) 5. Newly designed structures will be tested before being officially adopted for use in organization. (See perfect CLINICAL TRIAL.) 6. Labour or industrial relations will be enhanced as a direct outcome of 'demolitions' or from the creation of new structures.
