| DEFENSIVENESS Definition: A sort of behaviour which shows that you feel that people are criticizing you. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful, even if unnecessary. 2. Criticism is inferred by you (see definition, connect to #7). 3. You have done or or plan to do something untoward, abnormal, illicit or illegal, etc., which is known by the others, that could not or cannot be justified or proudly defended. 4. Act or action or comment is 'offensive', even as you make no physical contact, to drive home your point (to emphasize). 5. Timing of acts and actions is correct to help achieve the goal(s). 6. Behaviour does not include a new illegality. 7. What you do or say keeps the critics at bay. That is, those intended to be 'scared' away do not immediately react or respond in a negative way to what was said or done by you. In other words, behaviour achieves objective(s). 8. No repercussions that are unprepared for: danger, threat, trouble, etc. will arise from behaviour. 9.
