An impassioned speech (one in which someone expresses their strong feelings about an issue in a forceful way). iii. An exercise in rhetorical speaking. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the speaker or writer. 2. Best or most effective if unrehearsed or unpracticed. 3. Cannot be interjected and will be without a digression. 4. Won't be thought or considered malicious - no negativity. 5. Feelings are genuine and opinions personal. (To emphasize.) 6. Serves purpose(s) in the opinion of who delivers fiery words. 7.
