| DEATH TRAP Definition: (informal) A building, vehicle, etc. that is dangerous and could cause somebody's death. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful - to hopefully provide 'safety', not death. 2. Thing is specific and identifiable and known for sure as capable of causing a demise. 3. Building, etc. is 'inviting'. That is, a 'pull' is possessed by the thing that makes people or things to get attracted to it. 4. Gives no timely caution or warning before finally causing a death. 5. Not ordinarily protected or guarded (connect to #4). 6. Ready to catch (= kill) a prey (= person/animal, etc.) once it is contacted or entered. 7. 'Trap', whatever, can be avoided.
