Deal-making
DEAL-MAKING

Definition: The act or process of making deals (= organizing and completing an agreement or arrangement with someone, especially in business).

* All six elements should be in.


1. Purposeful and necessary to try to enter into some relationship with another person or some other people.

2. Timing for the start and conclusion of talks, etc. will be most auspicious to help achieve the objective(s).

3. Persuasive and negotiation methods and abilities will be such that will not put deal-maker at any risk, even if ... .

4. Offers, exchanges, expressions, etc. that will be brought onto a negotiating table will be sincere. That is, all the details stated or provided will be transparent and conditions listed will not be vague. In other words, there will be no 'secret weapon' or 'trump card'!

5. A willingness and readiness, coupled with the wherewithal or ability to see the arrangement or agreement through will be possessed.

6. Activities will be concluded and serve purpose(s), as hoped for, even if the final gains will not be as much as originally envisaged.
