| DEAL-MAKER Definition: A deal-maker is someone in business or politics who makes deals. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine or ten elements, as applicable, should be in. 1. Has a purpose and believes activity a necessity. 2. Informed or empowered and with the needed wherewithal. 3. Prioritizes, has an order of preference, does a cost-benefit analysis, etc. 4. Works in unison with the others in group or with principal, if any. 5. Never gets involved in an unlawful act in the process of dealing. 6. Won't put self interest before an organization's objective. 7. Able, willing or ready to make some concession or a compromise, if required. 8. Effective enough to conclude discussions in good time. 9. Gets more advantages than expected by the 'opponent'. 10.
