ANACOLUTHON

Definition: (grammar) The abandoning of one grammatical construction for another in the middle of a sentence (e.g. 'which would you rather do, or go fishing?').

1. Purposeful and considered necessary, by who 'abandons'.

2. Not a preplanned move, except if to teach or educate.

3. The reason(s) for abandonment won't need an explanation.

4. An abandoning does not arise from forgetfulness or memory loss.

5. Seemingly strange construction will still make some sense.

6. 'Phrase' will not be wrongly penalized or 'rejected'.
