| DAY OF RECKONING (1) Definitions: i. The time when one must face the consequences of one's misdeeds. ii. If someone talks about the day of reckoning, they mean a day or time in the future when people will be forced to deal with an unpleasant situation which they have avoided. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. a. EARLIEST - spoken about immediately a responsibility is shirked. b. EARLY WARNING - sign, warning, etc. of its inevitability is given. c. EARLINESS - panic, fear, etc. sets in as likelihood is established. d. DAY ONE - somehow, 'it' seemed, in the beginning, as an 'eternity'. e. LATEST - there will be full awareness or appreciation of a reality. f. ELEVENTH HOUR - speed of approach of 'truth' can't be believed now. g. D-DAY :- Nemesis (= unpleasant situation) will be annoying, belittling, etc. h. ZERO HOUR - Earlier advantages, benefits or gains, would have gone. i.
