Purposeful and necessary to have system in place, no matter the type of economy that is practiced in country, and whether system is regularly reinforced or given periodic bailouts: REALISTIC. ____________________________________ See perfect CENTRAL BANK. 2. Specific and identifiable - and unique to particular individual country, whatever similarities it has with others - but not tied to the apron strings or fortunes of another nation: RELEVANT. _______________________________________ See perfect ZIMBABWEAN DOLLAR. 3. Measurable and/or assessable. That is, system has the appropriate forms that a monetary system should have - paper money, coins, treasury bills, bonds etc., even if these are not the strongest in region or continent: CONVENIENT. _________________________________________ See perfect PURCHASING POWER (1). 4. Supported and secured with the right economic and financial base. That is, industrial activities, earnings from exports and/or imports, investment incomes, etc. will be sound and solid. Has considerable value or real worth in the regional and/or international markets, whether or not its devices are left for free market forces or government-controlled: FLOATED. _______________________________________ See perfect EXCHANGE RATE (2). 6. System is safe, secured and protected. Serves purpose(s), for period desired by government.
