| CURFEW (4) Definition: The time for a curfew (a medieval rule that all lights and fires should be covered at certain times in the evening, when a bell was rung. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Authorized by the appropriate official/organ. 2. When need for light or fire no longer existed. 3. When aware and/or able to hear sound of a bell. 4. When an estimation of the duration could be had. 5. When it caused no unplanned loss (connect to #1). 6. Covers served purpose(s), whatever happened after. 7.
