| CROWD-PLEASER Definitions: i. (informal) A person or performance that always pleases an audience. ii. If you describe a performer, politician, or sports player as a crowd-pleaser, you mean they always please their audience. You can also describe an action or event as a crowd-pleaser. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Interprets roles rightly (performer), provides leadership or fulfils promise (politician), or displays sportsmanlike behaviour (sportsperson), exactly as required or stipulated by relevant rules. 2. Will not deliberately or mischievously threaten the audience or put members of an audience at risk. And won't cause observers, the electorate or supporters to suffer an unplanned loss. 3. Goes the extra mile to ensure audience satisfaction. That is, will endeavour to meet the reasonable demands of most of the viewers, public, or fans. 4. Does not respond to a negative act from the minority members of an audience. That is, will not react badly to a rare slow handclap, etc. 5. Never hurries to conclude performance or end involvement in an activity. And won't rush departure from stage, podium, arena, etc. 6.
