| CRIMINALIZATION (2) Definition: The treatment of somebody as a criminal. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful (connect to #5), for the perpetrator(s). 2. Considered a necessity to treat person in particular way. 3. Irrefutable proof/hard evidence or strong suspicion of criminality is possessed by the person treating somebody else as a crook. That is, treatment has a basis, foundation or justification. In other words, person tagged a 'criminal' is not an innocent. 4. No sign of remorse or regret on the part of the 'accused', to warrant a different, better treatment. 5. A loss or losses is/are sure to be suffered if particular type of treatment is not meted out to person. That is, a gain arises from the seemingly wicked act/action. 6. Other person(s), if available, is/are made aware by actions, comments, inaction, etc. of the status of suspected 'criminal'. 7. Person treated as a criminal has not been reported or handed over to the law. And therefore not yet arraigned or charged. Or convicted! 8.
