ABSOLUTION (1)

Definitions:

i. (formal) If someone is given absolution, they are forgiven for something wrong that they have done.

ii. (US) The forgiveness of sin; setting free from guilt.

1. Purposeful to grant pardon to wrongdoer: healthy.

2. Considered a necessity to forgive the trespasser: vital.

3. Offender knew or is made to know that he/she sinned: factual.

4. A really serious consequence exists, if wrong is punished: relevant.

5. Contrition, remorse, etc. would have been shown, even if no apology or direct request for forgiveness was made: deserved.

6. Given at the best possible time or moment, such that it can benefit both the 'sinner' and the so-called offended: valued.

7. Gain or advantage, mileage or lead, etc., that would have been secured from wrongdoing will not be confiscated: true.

8. The act of condoning or overlooking misdeed will be appreciated. That is, offender will not repeat the same 'crime' again: worthwhile.

9. Misdeameanour will not be mentioned or referred to in the future in such a way to make a past offender feel guilty or inferior: total and complete.
