| CRASH TEST Definition: The deliberate crashing of a new vehicle under controlled conditions in order to test how it reacts or to improve its safety. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful (see definition). 2. Necessity as a requirement of the law or as a part of a quality control process. 3. Conducted with a crash dummy on the driver's seat! (To emphasize.) 4. Controller, regulator, etc. performs duties responsibly. That is, observations are made and appropriate measures taken as necessary. 5. Act or action achieves objective(s).
