| COURSE OF ACTION Definition: A way of acting in or dealing with a particular situation. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. OKAY. 2. All the relevant and complete data, input, information, etc. that are needed or required to make a decision are available and obtained. Consequences or costs of each possibility (= option) are fully provided, disclosed or made known, in a very clear manner. LEGITIMATE. 6. Choice of preference among the possibilities is selected. ACTIONABLE. 7. Option selected is defended or defensible, if required. RELEVANT. 8. Choice picked can be executed timely, effectively and efficiently. TIMEOUS. 9. (Reserved.) (Action taken on basis of choice will not bring an unplanned loss or will result only in minimum losses being suffered. That is, outcome or result of action, will turn out as expected or planned, though this can only be known later.) SAFEST. 9. (Reserved.) (Choice made will not be a postponement or an inaction! That is, courage will be displayed by picking a choice from the alternatives.) NOBLE. 10. Trouble will be avoided, costs and time will be saved, etc. and there will be no regret, in the future, as a result of course taken, however hard it seemed in the beginning.
