| COUNTERFEITING Definition: The action or process of making an exact copy of something in order to trick people into thinking that it is the real thing. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the counterfeiter(s). 2. The original will be possessed for a great deal of time during production or manufacturing process. 3. Raw materials or materials used will be durable and of sustainable quality, even as this will not be the original or best. 4. Costs and time expended will not be as high as that used in making the genuine item. 5. Final product will not be distinctly different or distinguished from the original, to an untrained eye. Action or process will not be an illegality where production takes place. Or/and, if illegal, criminal is not found out. That is, no unplanned loss will ordinarily be suffered as a result of activity. 8. Serves purpose(s).
