| COTTON BUD Definition: (British English) A small stick with cotton wool at each end, used for cleaning inside the ears, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - for cleaning ! 2. Cotton wool at the ends are white and clean, before use. 3. Wool at the ends are not moist or wet or too dry. 4. Wool is securely fixed on stick - not likely to slip off while being used. 5. Stick is made of the appropriate material - soft plastic - not possible to break into two and damage an organ while in use. 6. Cotton wool is not 'coloured' - pure white, before it is used. 7.
