| CORNER KICK (1) Definition: (in football (soccer)) A free kick that you take from the corner of your opponent's end of the field. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - to keep to the rules of the game. 2. Ball went into touch (out of field of play) before it was awarded. __________________ EARNED. 3. Taken at the right area or spot (with or without a corner flag). 4. Does not go out and swerve in again - whether official(s) notice it or not. 5. No injury is sustained by the kicker, from play or as a result of missiles from the crowd! 6. Taken advantage of.
